4K on PlayStation 4 Pro, too. http://www.bit-tech.net/news/gaming/2016/10/06/bethesda-ps4-mod-support/1
the whole prospect of modding on a console is the ****ing stupidest thing ever. mark my words Bethesda will be charging for them as soon as they can giving the original dev a few pennies for the effort. its not even proper 4k you muppet. its upscaled 1080 of which they can barely run as is.
That's not what Bethesda says. 'The new power of the PlayStation 4 Pro has allowed us to make Skyrim render in native 4k.' Sure enough, the edges on the supplied screenshots look sharp enough that I'm willing to believe they are indeed natively-rendered rather than upscaled.
It makes little difference, the mod variety on PS4 is still going to be effectively Token, cheat mods will go, but anything with any custom assets isn't going to be a thing. Custom sounds, models, textures, anything like that Sony won't allow. So you'll get minor tweaks, cheat mods, rebalances, possibly, and that's about it, waste of time IMHO.
