Right... pay someone to change the website to tell everyone that they're going out of business? That's rather pointless really. I bet the website will remain unchanged until the domain name expires, well after BFG is left to ashes. That's entirely different. Extended warranties are sold. That money goes to a third party and this third party handles all repairs, exchanges, etc. It works much like an insurance policy in that they take in money hoping to rarely pay out. But it's not an insurance policy.
Change the website? What add a new article stating your going out of business is suddenly days work? Not an hours work at most. And they'd probably save more time doing that than sending emails to people who request an RMA.
I still have an old 5950Ultra from BFG with the Sticker OMGWTFBFGSAUCE. that thing is incredibly noisy and hotter than hell. Sad to see them go but it does happen.
