Woah, that's a shock. I've still got one of their 6600 GTOC's in my old Athlon PC.

Seems like PC game piracy, and as result the lack of new innovated PC games, is finally hitting the hardware market...

Seems like Nvidia's Fermi disaster is hitting resellers more like!

Good. The motherboard and add-in card markets are in need of some serious seller and product rationalisation, as far as I'm concerned. I'm not at all surprised that the market's not profitable for resellers atm.

I think the "focusing on power supply and gaming system divisions" really means theres no cash coming out of graphics for us any more... "we give in.. we'll make more else where"!

That is a surprise, they always had good cards and one of the best warranty policy's.

A loss to the industry. Fantastic RMA, great cards.

That's how it goes when you're "premium partner" for a certain company, and said company cannot deliver the goods (for quite a while now). Probably won't be the last "partner" to bite the dust, either. It's a shame though...

It's no surprise. Graphics card manufacturers come and go and it's very had to differentiate your graphics card from someone else's these days.

Huh? Pirates don't need video cards?

I'd say that the economy, Fermi or the lack of any significant progress in graphics over the last few years would be more likely reasons.

I am surprised though. They always struck me as one of the better Nvidia card providers.

Pirating -> less profit on PC -> Less development for PC -> Fewer decent games on pc -> fewer pc gamers

That said, I'm pretty sure that has nothing to do with why BFG is getting out of the graphics card business.

That is such a shame, I'm a huge fan of BFG Tech GPU's, so it comes as a huge surprise, but i do wonder if it's because of the limited amount of popularity that Fermi has generated.
Still, i wonder what happens to BFG's Warranty on existing cards?
