Just got some I2C code working for some mono-BMP fun. First pic shows a familiar BMP (its not actually connected to the PC, so its NOT running LCDStudio). Second pic I took a fanart from the Berserk series and converted over to mono BMP image and programmed the serial EEPROM. My digital camera really does not do these justice. I need to get my hands on a polaroid and scan them in. I have no ideawhat Im going to use this for as of yet. Im ignoring a couple of projects in order to mess around with this. Ive currently got I2C display commands going, and 'clear display' command written for a 40 pin PIC. I plan to introduce a character overlay with XOR interface and a 40x30 character layer. Afterwhich I was planning on doing a PC parallel interface and may end up writing serial interface as well. Im not much into VB coding so Im planning on doing a very simple parallel interface and maybe use just a hardware serial-to-parallel solution instead of coding a serial interface. further-more, I really have no need for 2 of these. Both VFDs and power supplies work just fine. But with too many projects, too little time and money, I have no plans for one of these, let alone two.
side note: Menthol ciggs!???! you crazy they are the only fags with cool smoke... think of the chemicals. Davidoff are the only ciggs
Looking mighty fine! Take some pix further away from the VFD's that'll look better.
