Is there anyway i would be able to achieve the effect of looking down the wrong end of a set of binoculars in photoshop?

Also for future reference. Is there anyway i can do this with lenses on D-SLR?

    Regards

If I remember correctly looking down the wrong end just makes everything incredibly small?
In case you want that, you could duplicate the background layer, shrink it, then add a thick black ring around it perhaps with a slight gradient and blur on outer and inner edges. Add two semi transparent white lines atop and bobs your uncle...?

Otherwise I don't understand your question... Perhaps if you have a photo of the effect you could show to illustrate the effect?

Yeah thats pretty much the effect i wanted, except without the are out side the binoculars.

If you are wondering why i wanted it, its for a short film im making with my friends in the summer. Just a bit of a cheesy horror.

just use a mask over the image. for added effect, add some lens distortion to each circle (there's a filter for that in PS but i forgot what it was called)

I believe what Fod refers to is lens correction.
Just have fun with the stuff under "Filters->Distort"
    I made this for you:

You might also be satisfied with "Pinch"
