    what about iceland, its a beautiful country and not really that expensive to get to.
    plus the hotubs are superb.

    Only cause ur a lazy mofo, and ive been living in northern culture for 3 years, it aint all its cracked up to be missy. :p

    At least with central noone can complain its north or south (unless u live in scotland, then leeds or manchester are about central.

    Some tips for all

    LAN - It'll never happen.. you need a venue, somewhere with plenty of power, you'll need to get your pc's there etc etc

    The easiest way to do it....

    Set a location. Set a time to meet.... Meet there... then head out for pubs/etc, like we did for the Mods Meet 2003... so easy.

    Ok, it seems Brum is the most favoured place. I don't want any excuses either cos every train line in the UK goes through Brum.

    I was thinking about hiring a function room for the day? With bar, obviously.

    Remember not everyones over 18 mind ;) (not that that stops peeps :blush: ) and we have to get home :worried:

    I dont drink on internet meets anymore, last time i did i got pretty ****ed out of my brain cause i was being bought constant drinks by Gavin (ex-OCS admin). Last time i walk around london (or whereever) drunk :rolleyes: :lol:

    Damn! can't belive I only just saw this thread!

    Well I was there for the Bit-Tech Notts 2003 and I'll be there for the Bit-Tech B'Ham 2004 version. Not too fussed where it's held so long as it's roughly in the middle of the country.

    Glad someone else is organising it this time.

    Seriously, B' ham is a hole, and we all know all northern english cities are holes too ;)

    So same place as the summer then? This time im not working so i can go hopefully, for sure if its Easter.

    BTW - when is easter this year??

    26/03/04 and 19/04/03 are my term dates for holiday, so it must be in there somewhere.
