Meh I'll be up for this. Although I can't see the point of having 2 meets in 2 different places on the same day / week. Hopefully they will take place on different weekends so I can go to both. (That's if both even run, we all know how these things have a tendency of not happening).

I'm interested, although I can't give a definitive answer until quite close to the time because I don't know what my work comitments may be.

    26th is prefable also :)

The US is a rather large place. On UK Mainland you can pretty much get anywhere (within reason) by car or train in a reasonable amount of time.

Probably end up being the nearest 'spoons to the train station, which is about a 30 second walk. :thumb:

Train station... bench... empty house... cardyboard bawkz..

in all seriousness. there's a travel inn express (or holiday inn express.. can't remember which... it was on the route of the 101 or something...) stayed there last year for a night... decent... and only £64 a night..

i dont live too far from manchester (as you can see in my oh so handy "Location" :p) i may show up, depending on location in manchester.. might have to get a hair cut first.. i'll damage your retina if i dont :p

EDIT: train line from my local station only goes to victoria.. i'd have to get on a tram too :waah: (mad experience, nearly lost my face because of one on a saturday morning once :x )

i missed the last meet as i was low on monies due to a little jaunt to prague. i'd love to come to this one (or even brum, but there seems to be more interest in this one)

more people need to laugh at a drunk MrDT tbf :D my weekends are all free until june now, so i can't see any reason i can't make it :)

//me wonders if any old men will start chatting to him again :D

edit: hopefully a few people will be up for staying over somewhere and making a full day and night of it?

Aye', and the 'spoons next-door-to/in/on Portland tower or one of the five that are in about a 2minute radius of that. I'm not well up on pubs and bars in manchester though, so if you know better places let us know.
