I usually have a decimal point in there. Still bounced (a bit) last week when slamming off the kickers on the board, so am happy with that. As long as I don't have to ever buy a set of touring planks. 'Cos that's just a straight No.
Last year I realised I'd been a member for 20 years... Those early years on bit-tech pretty much set me up for my career.
Careful not to veering into poking fun at Gen X. We survived no seatbelts, lead in the air, asbestos schools and concrete playgrounds. We're fricking mental.
The poll should be updated to the age you identify as, because I’m in my 20s and have been… since my 20s
Being a “boomer” is like being a “Karen”: it’s a mindset/attitude distinction rather than a demographic one. Not everyone born in the baby boom years is a “boomer”, just like not everyone with the name Karen will demand to see life’s manager at every opportunity. You’re fine as long as you don’t start going on about how easy young’uns have it, avocado on toast, expensive fancy coffee, hard work, pulling yourself up by your bootstraps, etc…
Young'uns are so screwed - they think they have it easy but take their smartphones away and they are basically nothing - crumbling education system, crumbling economy, crumbling government, everything is crumbling. I demand to see life's manager!
I can't believe how many epic games have their 25th anniversary this year... the fun I had playing those games, dayum: (not an exhaustive list, just some highlights) Driver Worms Armageddon Quake III Arena Unreal Tournament Donkey Kong 64 GTA 2 Silent Hill
Gotta say it - I loved the top down GTA games. I lost interest pretty quickly when they went third person.
@David same here - GTA 2 is easily my favourite game from the franchise because of its faithfulness to the OG release. Rockstar were giving it away for free some years ago so I jumped on that (I might even have it installed on my work PC... )
GTA 2 is amazing. I love the radio stations, and feel like the GTA series lost a lot of its charm when they moved from creating their own songs to licensing real songs. And the series also went downhill when it started trying to be serious (and especially when it tries to have its cake and eat it by being serious and silly simultaneously). The ice-cream van bonus stages on GTA 2, preferably played using the German language setting, are one of my favourite gaming memories
GORANGA !!! lool did loved the gta2 ... and the songs yeah but i do have fond memories of playing vice city and the soundtrack was on point .. (damn that little rc copter ) by the way in gta3 you could still change the view from 3rd person to top down (i actually played it after vice city because it took me a awhile to get used to it and later when i did play the gta3 i was miffed that it had that function all along xD )
