Hi guys - hope you are well.

    My Pc is:

    Core i7
    gtx 260 (216)
    6gb ram
    1tb hdd

I use AnyDVD HD to make ISO's of my Blurays.

When I mount the ISO using Daemon Tools, and play the movie using CyberLink PowerDVD 9... I get stuttering.

Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't - couldn't figure out why though.

    How can I avoid it?

    Thanks.

Can you see if your system has latency problem:
    http://www.thesycon.de/deu/latency_check.shtml

You should only have green bar when idle and when you play your bluray movie, at worst a few yellow bar here and there on occasions, but not always or a lot.

    Thanks. Tried the program.

One yellow bar when I start the PowerDVD, all green bars during playback - but it's still stuttering... with green bars :eyebrow:

    What's H.264?
How would I encode it into H.264?

Hi, I dunno if this is specifically a problem with your files as opposed to powerDVD, I use it to watch Blu-rays straight from disc and have the same issue with occasional stuttering during some films. Have you tried a different program to see if that may be the issue?

I've also tried Corel WinDVD 2010.

    I'd say CyberLink is better...

    They stutter...

Do you have the latest Nvidia display drivers, and motherboard drivers chipset?

I tried updating all the drivers.

    Still same problem.

I can use the Resource Monitor if you want ("Windows Task manager" - "Performance" tab - "Resource Monitor")

But I dunno how to use it.

When running the ISO, some charts in the Resource Monitor go to the max...

But I don't know how to use the Resource Monitor...

I havent got much experience with these things but have been doing a fair bit of reading up on HD content etc for a while, maybe you can try using media player classic so it uses your gfx card rather than cpu.

Maybe an useless suggestion but maybe it will help.
