Small Form Factor Boards In A Shuttle

    would a Mini-ITX board fit in a G2 Shuttle Shell??

    or is there some board taht will??

    becuase i have the oppurtunity to buy a shuttle shell and i might do it if i can slowly build a system out of it

    I think a Mini-ITX board would fit inside a Shuttle case.
    Not a bad idea really as there's a good mounting positions for everything but might have a little trouble lining up the PCI slots to the case.

    It'll fit with some modification. Shuttle cases are smaller than mini-itx motherboards because they use a form factor called flex-atx. So if you're willing to make some custom mounts then the itx mobo will fit, but it'd be a lot easier just to buy a shuttle flex-atx mobo. Lots of shops that sell flex-atx motherboards can be found in the SFF FAQ . :thumb:

    is there any US or Canadian sites that offer the boards just like that?? thats what i want but i think shipping overseas would kill me

    Mashie's put an Epia M-10000 in a shuttle type case, have a look here for more info :thumb:

    A via epia will fit in a shuttle case but the ports at the back dont line up and neither does the pci slot.
