drop the price to 300ish, pack in a SIXAXIS.... NEW AND IMPROVED WITH NEXT GEN RUMBLE ("lawsuit? what lawsuit?"), and i'm there. the ps3 is finally starting to become a decent proposition.

Really? I always enjoyed those sort of open, sandboxy type of games where you weren't limited to a linear playstyle. of course, that's assuming this game does give you that kind of freedom...

I still play Saint's Row / Crackdown on the 360 for the enjoyment of causing mayhem.

I like open games like GTA, you do mission or just walk around and do other stuff, but it seams like Pain doesn't have a storyline of anykind

I'm with the beast, that game sounds pants to me, though I never enjoyed Saints Row or Crackdown so its probably not for me, if its a couple of quid on PSN I'd probably have a bash on it.

It's not so much Sandboxy as kind of like a racing game from what I know. Kind of "Heres the startline, heres the catapult. To complete the level you have to caused 3000 points of damage to your body, 5000 to the city and catch one of those flying monkeys. 3 minutes! GO!"

Looks good, but would get dull quickly. Multiplayer would spice it up I hope.
