I bought my ps3 pad in nov 09, but now the Rubber bit of the Left Stick now twists and twirls about and no I dont have gamer rage or button bash. I rang the retailer and they said ring sony I rang Sony and they say is was accidental damage. , rubbish i did nothing, and so they wont replace it, so what should I do
for the hassel you are going to get chasing sony youd be better off just buying another, should be ale to get one for around 15 quid if you show around.
EDIT: oh right i understand what you're saying, the actual plastic stick twiddles around. Maybe you can reseat it? If sony won't fix/replace it tear it open and see if it is seated properly.
So calling them back and shouting as loud as I can is out of the question??? Well I would buy another pad but I cant really afford it as I'm using my disposable income on my new build wait... £15 quid you say from where??? Most of them are £34-35
Sjould be a pretty east fix. take it apart and line the two "spikes" on the analouge sticks interior with the holes in the plastic analogue stick cover.
Prob best trying epoxy if you're gluing metal to plastic. But i reckon it has just come unseated i don't think anything is broken. Edit: I'm confused here, is it the actual entire left stick that is spinning or the rubber grip on top? Can we have some clarity or a video.
Sorry my fault basically the analogue stick is fine, and is in the correct position But The Rubber bit that covers the tops of the stick now twirly and moves kind of like a dial.
