Hey all, my computers gone a bit haywire recently(gpu dying, followed by a hard drive and then the psu) so I'm looking at buy new kit but I'm limited to about £250-280 for cpu, motherboard, ram and gpu. I've been looking at the hardware bundles on novatech to get an idea of what I can get for that price and I'm after some advice on amd and intel in terms of processing power vs money. This system is going to be for gaming and some 3d modelling work as well as photoshop etc. Also on my current system it looks like two of the capacitors may be damaged as they have a small amount of black residue as well as bulging out a little on top, and could this have an effect on artefacts from the graphics card at all? The amd spec I have gotten together is motherboard cpu ram and the intel system would be something like this: cpu motherboard and the same novatech ram. thanks for any advice.
