Got an 800 duron here that wont even hit 800 (dont get into windows), was running fine at 800, but after a lockup in windows it decided not to work at 800 again.

But it will run at 103*7.5

Then after another crash / lockup, it seemed to only like the idea of working at 100*7.5

    CPU Temp 28c
    System Temp 23c

(taken from VIA Hardware Monitor v2.04)

    CPU Voltage set to 1.85v
    I/O Votlage set to 3.50v

    Fop 32-1

6*80mm evercool fans for case cooling

    Herc GF2 mx
    128mb Cas-2 pc133 ram
    Abit KT7a Raid

    Any ideas lads ?

    Ta,
    Fors

Clear your CMOS and try again that may help.

Or you could try removing PCI/ISA cards until you find out if one of them is making the system crash.

Just cleared the CMOS, reseated all me cards, memory, still nothing.

it worth doing a fresh reinstall or does anyone have any other ideas.

    Thanx for the ideas neways.

I'll be a bit pissed if the CPU is buggered, seems strange that it used to hit 1Ghz before.
