Ok. im looking at costing up a dual E5520 folding machine.

Anyone had any experience with ASUS Z8NA-D6C?

It seems to be a good price for what it is and its standard ATX sized.....

Yes, it's the cheapest 55xx board out there. When I did a little research on dual Xeon boards I didn't find much being said about it, good or bad. Advantages - it's cheaper (relatively speaking, compared to the Supermicro and Tyan boards) and you don't need to use ECC RAM with it, so you can save a few more $$$'s there as well, and as you pointed out the 'standard' ATX form factor could be considered an advantage depending on the case that will house it.
