Well, I would really like a remote entry system on my car, a 1991 Dodge Stealth R/T Twin Turbo. It does have power locks, so If I'm thinking right, I probably just need an rf reciever/transmitter, a keyfab and then the necessary circuitry to get it to open or close the lock, which is most likely just an electrical impulse. Could someone give me an idea of how this would work and some price/parts lists Mitsu wants like 150 bucks for a keyfab, and I would have to pirate another car for the reciever.
Well check ebay for a keyfob, they go cheap on there. I just got one for £6.50 for my car and it will just need programming.

rodger that! but you are admin so it is... more intresting... negitive! ive done it 2 or 3 times ... see if http://www.theeshadow.net/carmod/ is still up... i dont remember. you just need a limit-style switch to stop it from starting if it is in gear, OR a powerlock actuator to clutch for ya. either = easy.
Heh. I have to have my clutch fully depressed before I can do any starting. And I don't want to mess with an actuator But meh! This wont happen for a while. I have wayyyy more stuff to buy Shadow....You wanna send me a couple g's? I need to replace timing belt, rebuild/replace turbos, and more!
