Must admit I’ve always preferred first person, just because I feel more immersed in the game when it’s presented like that. Even though I may not be able to see my character and all the related gubbins at all times, it’s one of the things I liked most about TES games, which prove it can work in an RPG setting.
I honestly don't care. I just want the game, first person or third!
I'm sure, though, if it becomes an issue there'll be a mod somewhere that changes it.
I like having the option, I use both first and third person in the likes of Skyrim and FO.
I think they should have made it third-person 2.5D dimetric projection, the way CRPGs should be made dammit.
Pfft 2.5D, roll out the pen and paper
Reminds me, started clearing out the loft - I just know there's a box of old Fighting Fantasy books up there...
The simply reality is that on average first person games are leaps and bounds ahead of third person games when it comes to providing flawless gun play and considering that it will be the first game ever from CD Projekt with guns in it... better not gamble with attempting third person.
That thought had been playing on my mind too. Third person gun-play is almost invariably naff compared to first person without some experience and skill behind the dev team doing it.
That wouldn't be a Computer Role-Playing Game, though. Well, except in the very earliest sense of the word, I guess...
Couldn't find a pen or any paper, used notepad instead (yea i'm just being a PITA TBH)
