I know, AFIAK every other mod which was on the cebit is in the article. I havn't seen more of them. So a good 'roundup' should include each mod IMHO.

As I mentioned in the article, we had some problems with a lot of the pictures from the Cooler Master stand, but didn't realise until we were at the airport on the way home. They were simply badly blurred and unpublishable... sometimes that happens, because tradeshow lighting sucks and it's a choice between flash glare or exposure times that can occasionally result in camera shake.

In that respect, I'm sorry your mod wasn't included - it was simply out of my control by the time we'd realised there was a bunch of pics that 'sucked' for want of a better word.

May i suggest who ever takes the pictures uses a polarising filter? To remove the reflections from all the glass/plastic cases around the pc's.

Polarisers kill a lot of light and the lighting was piss poor as it is. I was the only one using a dSLR and tbh, a proper diffusing flash would have been better. You live, you learn :)

    Ok, than can happen.

BTW, polarizers do remove reflections, but they don't remove much reflection on bare metal or glass. So in that way the filter wouldn't remove much of the reflections at the acrylic. And it will cost you some stops, like what was said above, so you simply have to use a tripod because it's already dark over there.

Lighting was crappy indeed, as you can see in my pictures. These were taken using a 5mp compact digital camera. I say not bad for a 5 year old cam.

Although some don´t like the flame based case ...

see it in RL and u´ll love it, as most of CEBIT visitors did. Tastes are different btw. Unfortunately the features of both cases are not stated in the article. The flames are of course not lasercut. Everything done with a saw.

for more information go to modmymachine.com

    cheers
