I want a LCD display for my computer, but as far as I can see there are no orange versions. So, how easy would it be to change the colour? Are they lit up using LEDs? If so, would it be as easy as swapping out the LEDs in the display?
If I recall most are lit using surface-mount LEDs, which are a pain to get off but with a steady hand it's possible. EL illumination is also used and if you're lucky, standard LEDs - nice and easy to replace Edit: Some info here in second post: http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=47486
