I have a Asetek kit with 10MM tubing round the kit. I see everyone uses the 1/2 Tubing as its wider. I was wondering if its possible to change to this but still using the same CPU Block, Pump and Rad.

Ok its possible but not easy or worthwhile.

Basicly what you have to do is swap all the 10mm quick connect fittings for 1/2" barbs. This means you need to know what threads each componant uses. Im guessing they all use 1/4"bspp threads but im not 100% positive so you will need to check or find someone who knows for sure. Then once you have swapped all the fittings you can use 1/2" tube

However i seriously doubt you will see a worthwhile (if any) gain in performance..

Slater is right. The tiny, tiny (if any) gain is not worth the extensive hassle. If you want to upgrade performance, think in the direction of a bigger rad, more/faster fans etc., not wider tubing.

1/2" is only 12.5mm - so yeah, not worth the effort
