Ok here goes, I am thinking about making a very power efficient server soon if I can, and I was wondering if the community here would be able to point me in the direction to go with this. Only things it would need is to be very power efficient. I would also like to try and strike a balance between Power, Cost and Performance. It will be a simple server hosting only 1 website. Please could you make a shopping list for me. Thanks in advance Guys and Girls.
If your hosting only one site you would be best off just buying webspace with a legitimate host. saves you a lot of money from making a server.
It would save money. But one of the other reasons that I want my own web server is that I am planning on making a massive site that takes up a lot of CPU time. Also I was thinking that I could also use it as a media server for my home.
