Other Checking a flash drive for errors

    So.. I got my shiny new 8GB OCZ ATV Flash Drive (turns out to be 7.45GB) and I just want to know any mainenance tips, I tried to encrypt the drive and ended up losing 10MB of storage (when I received it it was 7.46GB), there are things I know you don't do such as defragging, but what about error checking etc...

    I think chkdsk /r would do it.
