For me Christmas get worse and worse every year... the presents get worse every year... and i feel less and less christmassy... is it me or by the time you reach 18 it's a reason to hit the pubs and have a bit or time off, and by the time your 40 it's the lame*est thing in the world where the whole thing is like a big commercial *and milked for everything it's worth*... making everyone even more materialistic... and by the time you reach 70 you couldn't care less... well unless you have a family of your own e.g when you become a mummy daddy or granny/grandad n see the kiddys....
I couldn't care less since the age of 10 or so. That's when the gifts stopped and there was nothing to look forward to.
It's not at Christmasy as before, I think this year is the first time Christmas feels like any other day. But I've got the biggest Christmas present ever, my casemod is finally finished. Started back in June, and finished today EDIT: This year is also the first year for a very long time when I actually haven't chosen what presents I am getting from my parents. So it's gonna be a nice surprise. However I accidently looked at my mum's Christmas list and the only thing I know I'm getting is a Lynx body kit worth £40 Have to wait till tomorrow to see what else I get.
I'll be 17 in 4 hours 50 minutes (I expect a Happy bday thread), Thats the only reason i look forwards to xmas anymore. It all got lame a few years ago. BAH-HUMBUG tbh.
I'll second that! I've got a new bass and I've not seen it yet.... I normally stumble upon presents while about the house. Make the most of it - 'tis the season to be jolly
20 here. Christmas is just a couzy day at home with my family! No presents either, but its not really about the presents, now is it?? It's not something I really look forward to. Just a nice time! Cold outside, couzy inside. Pretty nice time! Hope you have a great night everybody! L
Christmas has been feeling less like Christmas for a while now, even though i'm getting some real nice hardware, i'm not excited at all (well, not much..).
christmas is like every other day.... boring... dont get as many presents as i have had a few years ago... the only good thing is being 18 and can go down the pub..
Christmas should be called the day of greed, waste and drunkeness. It has absolutley nothing to do with religion and is a completely commercial and materialistic time of the year for no reason. The only good thing about it is Jan sales. Merry-F'ing-Christmas to you too!
Christmas seems alright... but today has been like any other... but hell, I don't have to go to school at least. And some kickass presents are coming their way... an Armotech WG 47 paintball gun... I expect to be able to use it before i get back in school. But still, christmas seems to have lost its edge, especially since I was 8 or so... It's a good excuse for getting completely wasted at the end of the day, and that's what really matters, isn't it? edit: we're certainly feeling pessimistic today, aren't we? Cheer up.

lol it seems like it now... the adverts and our parents brought us up that way. Christmas realy is celebrated by most for the wrong reasons... should be more about family and birth of our holy Jesus christ.
Christmas is a nay period. Babylon's rituals with the Christian name stamped on top can go to the Pit for all I care tbqh.
