Anyone been watching this one?? I wasn't really expecting much so shoved it on my archos to watch on the tube.

Loved it... had a humour which i guess just appealed to me.

Anyone love it hate it? If you hate it leave your real name and address... I'll find you, I promise! :D

I like it but on a level where I can just chill and turn off my brain.

It's not bad, not brilliant by any means, but I've watched the first 6 or so and plan to keep on watching.

Ditto to above post. Not sure how many I've seen, just watched it whenever my flat mate got a new episode. Went down well as a social watch.

i love it. there's a very fine line between light easy entertainment and utter crap, and chuck is just on the right side of it.

Same, I thought it was enjoyable, not something I'll make sure to tune in to to watch the latest episode like Doctor Who and BSG but it's definitely something to fill the gap

    Is anyone still watching this?

I've just finished watching the 1st series and loved it to bits!

I've seen up to "Chuck vs. the Nemesis" - I really like this show to be honest. I have a number of friends who overanalyse it and claim it's rubbish - picking holes in every scientific innacuracy and plot hole - but if you approach it with an open mind, and just enjoy the humour, it can be really great.

On a side note - I can't believe how different Zachary Levi (or whatever his name may be) is compared to his days in "Less than Perfect". He's gone from possibly the most annoying character on TV, in the most annoying television series on TV, to a really good role.

Yvonne (Sarah) does make the show a hole lot better though :D.

Yeah, as long as you accept it is just stupid fun it's a great show, same as Reaper. Looking forward to them both returning later in the year.

Another show I'm currently finding similarly fantastic is "The Big Bang Theory".

Very geeky Computing, Physics and Mathematics Jokes - CHECK
Obsessive compulsive physics geek I can really relate to - CHECK
Kaley Cuoco, regularly wearing mini skirts, tight tops, or cat costumes - MASSIVE CHECK

The Big Bang Theory rules, although the latest couple of episodes have been less geeky & more about the
annoying relationship between Leonard & Penny
. The show would be much cooler without Penny IMO.

Anyway about Chuck, I got bored of it pretty quickly, I don't dislkike it but I don't like it either, if there's absolutely nothing on TV then I'll probably watch it, but even then I find myself watching BBC24 instead.

Now that is a geeky remark. :D But it wouldn't work without Penny. You need a non-geek for the geeks to play against. A lot of the fun is about coming at the situation from very different frames of reference.

God dammit I hate the Big Bang Theory, it's such a pile of ****.

The jokes aren't geeky enough, and they aren't proper geeks. Where are their computers? No proper geeks would have an apartment that looked like that.

OK I agree with that point, however compare the earlier episodes with the latest ones, the show has lost a lot of geek!

BTW, best episode ever...the one when they are playing with X10 (EP: [S01 E09] - The Cooper-Hofstadter Polarization)
    Especially the Odyssey homage ;)
