    Thx for the drawing! :)
I will use the tank to stand straight up.
Must the fittings sit on top off on the lower part of the tank?

Aren't there multiple types of radiators? I've seen some with both barbs up. some with both barbs down, and some with 1 at the top and 1 at the bottom - like a car radiator. I would think one at the top would allow to fill and get the air out. I don't H20 yet but I would think it applies to the res. too.

    @ jhanlon303

Yes, the top is for water inlet.
The one at the bottom is for water outlet. Where the pomps sucks water out of it.
Anyone any ideas for the color of the tank?

I've been building the reservoir this afternoon.
First of all, I've drilled and tapped 1/4" threads in the holes.

Then, i maked a rectangle with soms papertape for the hole.

Then, i toke the diskmachine (don't know the correcto word) to cut out the hole.

After I done the cutting work. I began filling the edges.

    Before filling
    [IMG]

    After filling
    [IMG]

On the bottom off the reservoir, i will install a uv led module for a shinny waterglow.

    Then I stopped working.

I don't know what it is made of, but if it is aluminum you should file the welds smooth and polish it.:D
If it is steel then go with black.

Love the res, but for the hdd cooler, are rubber strips really gonna cut it?

Today, I've mounted the radgrill onto the top off the case.
The little pieces you see on the paint is just dust.

After that, i taked a fan en I've mounted it to the radgrillz.
The fan you see if blue, but the real on will be green/blue, or uv.

    A pic with uv-light.

Wednesday more update, when my parcel with moddingmaterials will arrive.:)

This evening I cut out the rubber I needed for the sealing with the pipe an plexiglass, to make it a watertight.

    What I needed:
    - rubber
    - stanley "knife"
    - straight lat
    [IMG]

    Cutting it out...

Over the rubber comes plexiglass that will the fixed with bolts to the pipe.

    More in the next update.

    Bad news and good news.

    Bad:
    - I've asked a company for the price of copper plates.
:eeek: I came in shock when I Heard the price 20€ for 150*110mm and 4mm thick.
Then I've not got the plexiglass, rubbers that adds more to the prices.
I would end up cheaper if I buy them.
-Today I've try to bend the plexiglass for the watertank. I've managed it to bend it like the shape off the pipe, but it
can not make a watertight seal.

    Good:
    - I will buy 2 harddisk watercoolblocks + a nice watertank

All other plan expired according to plan.

Any chance you could make the pics smaller?

    Good luck with the res!

I would suspect that if you mount it using
    1) A softer Rubber, and
    2) lots of Screws or bolts,

that would make it watertight. And the excess of Screws mounting the Plexi would make it look rather nice too, I think.

Yesterday my order arrived with materials I needed.
One of them is a 240mm rad.

I will see what I can do with the watertank.

Yesterday I've painted something on the plexiglass that I've mounted on the videocard.

I will make Uv pics too.

I'm planning to build a 2bay lcd screen in the front.
    Good or bad idea????

So how would that plexi cover affect temperatures? Are back coolers like thermalright HR-11 useless?
I was planing something similar on an ugly green 8800gt but everyone says the back of the card gets hot too.
BTW, what's all that Green plexi doing in a mod called BlueBlack?

The plexi cover does not effect the temperature of the graphiqs card.
The temps are the same withhout/with cover.
Yea, the name of this mod is not really good, but who cares.:D
