I think the subtle blue touch goes very well with the alu.

Very Nice work! Macroman has a rival!

How did you get the slot loading cutout on the cd drive so regular? Jigsaw? Hours and hours of filing?

TBH mate the colour isn't the same as the pic!! remember that the plexi sprayed from behind so its shiny! and the flash was on its abit darker than that!!

But as ouiga mentioned it does kinda fit with the alu!!

    Regarding the backlight things

I had to really spray around the cut out's for the drive's for some unkown reason and the result is it's no longer possible to light up!!:waah:

I think you should consider a really well defused and dimmed down white for the knobs. The red knob looks sweet (hell, the blue one does too), but I think it might clash with the case a little. If you used a dull white I think it would look excellent.

Personally I think I'd leave the front as is, but maybe I'm just a plain Jane.:hehe:

    [Edit]
I sure said "I think" a great deal in that post. I think I should re-word it... d'oh!

Hmm.. now that you mention it, the red might cause too much of a contrast unless you plan to add other red highlights here and there, which IMO would spoil the icy, frosty look. How about UV leds? :D

Hard to tell since the red knob lights up quite a bit and makes the case look red. I still think blue would be better :D

Why not get a bi or tri colour LED and have switches on the rear to select the colour of the knob :D

what would even be cooler would be to have the knob change color as it turned red for slow and blue for fast!!!:D hot/cool sorta thing

I like blue the best, the red overwhelms the case IMHO.

Tri-color would look cool as well :D

You're going to have some fun knobbing then :D

I like the blue one better, but complexprocess may be right:
Your case is looking sweeeeeeeeeet and since I've never been fond of a lot of different colours, my favourite would be a aluminium knob or indeed a not-too-bright-white. And since you make the coloured ones yourself, the white one would be somewhat cooler (not to mention cheaper ;) ).
