looks chroomd green
Yes mate, all done by my fair hands. The only thing I outsource is the polishing as that is too much work for me.
I've actually produced many colours, including red, blue, yellow, chrome and piano black. But I mainly anodised Lian Li cases. And for you guys in the US check out my review shortly on Xtreme Resources; The Dude is going to check out one of my chrome beasts...
I like the Chromed Green.
Keep up the good work.
No he hasn't painted it, he anodised it
Thats one sweet looking case you have there. I kinda like the transparant reservoir in the front, wouldn't change it if I were you.
Thanks for the comments guys - its good to get positive feedback. Well I've made some minor adjustments; I need to adjust the barbs on the res as they are leaking slightly (left it overnight and found a tiny droplet forming) but nothing serious. I will leave the bayres as I quite like it. Its very practical and I agree it does look good, besides you wont see it when the door is shut.
I ran some benchies this morning, the 3500 winny is 22 degrees idle and 33 under load: maxed out (so far) at 250FSB 1:1, with the memory at 2,2,2,6. Very nice! I overclocked the Ultra from its stock 425/1100 to 484/1210 (using coolbits) and scored a healthy 6700 in 3dmark05. There's plenty of room for improvements still.
green and chrome, sweet!
a perfect combination, case looks amazing.
what kind of powersuply did you use ? for the anodiseing
I realize I'm a total noob but how the hell would you go about anodizing something at home? Do they sell home anodizing kits somewhere?
Sorry I'm not sure I follow that? The psu is a cheap Akasa Powermax thing. It does the job, and is very quiet.
I dont do it at home as such, its part of my business
i would like to know that too.
I love chromed things so I loved this MOD, very good chroming work.
that's one4 of the most amazing paint job's i have ever seeen
Except he didn't paint it!
Great job man, looks nice and slick. Any reason for the blue tubing on the inside though?
Yes, I'm using a green tinted window panel (eventually) and UV cathodes. It should look very unusual!
aren`t you going to slave??
do you think anodising a case using this method will end up anywhere as good as yours ?
men, honestly the case was much more beautiful with the alu color, that green sucks
Lovely twist on a classic case
Not particularly constructive criticism..
