    I bet that activision isn't allowing dedi servers and user content most of the time because it adds too much replayability to a game. Their next iteration isn't going to be as valuable if there is a fantastically talented and vast mod community dedicated to making their past games stay fun. honestly I think valve is showing what can be done for getting the most bang for buck on a game though. Source has been out for years and they can still sell source games and copies of TF2 by building up a good reputation for supporting their games and doing awesome ****. Rather than bland copies of the same modern war over and over and over again.
