This game is really not looking good. I hate the unit designs and the changes to the resource management. I know they're trying to be different, but it just does not look like a Command & Conquer game anymore. And what's with all the emphasis on co-op and other gameplay changes these days? Why does every title have to jump on the biggest trends? What's wrong with just delivering a rock-solid strategy game without all the gimmicks?

It's not really an open beta if it's only for people who pre-order.

It is an open beta, not just pre-order people.

Might have a look at the Beta of this as I already have a GameSpot account, but as Rkiver pointed out, there are so many other games coming out.

Used to play RA1 for HOURS, then RA2... Tiberian Sun was bad. I wonder if my RA2 CD is still lying around...

Hahaha I never got what was so special about RA2. It's childish beyond the point of self-indulgence, mediocre art design compared with RA1 too. TS beats it on every count.

I'm mildly depressed about CnC4. There's so little attempt to even acknowledge its roots anymore that I feel all I'll buy it for is the end to the story, finish and never look back :(

    Global Defense... what's C?

IMO, RA1 was the best in Command n Conquer..

Tiberian Sun had some cool concepts, like altering terrain, underground units, but some major parts failed badly. IMO.
