My Custom built Computer which i have used for about 7 months ocassionally does not post. Though the fans spin, hard drive spins but nothing comes up on the monitor. I have checked all the connections. When the Computer does turn on, i have stressed the CPU and the GPU using various software. I have also ran Memtest around two weeks ago with about 10 passes with failures.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

I don't have a spare/working GPU available but from the stress test, it passed so i don't think its that.

And no, it only started today; yesterday it was working perfectly. I have checked any recent windows updates but none for today/yesterday.

Have you tried removing the motherboard battery to clear the CMOS?

It always fixed these kind of issues for me.

best bet is to remove the battery ? should be easy enough to do just get a screwdriver and push the clip back and it will pop right out.

oh turn all the power off first lol.

I tried to do that, short circuit8ing the pins does the same thing. At least according to my motherboard hand guide :)

hmmmm well if it is not posting its most likely down to the mobo.
