Hi Guys, I'm new to these forums.

I came to this forums while seeing it in custom pc mag.

    Here is my pc build:

    Intel Core i5-750(Stock Cooler)
    Asus P7P55-M
    CM Elite-310(Noob Case)
    Gigabyte Geforce GTS 250
    4GB RAM
    2x320GB WD HDD
    1xLG ODD
    CM Silentpro 700W

I'm experiencing some heat problems as my cpu is 52-55c when idle and around 65c at load

Can someone recommend some cheap n good CPU Coolers to me?

Reminder: As I am using a noob Elite-310 case,I really don't know which cooler is good and can fit in my case.

    Any Help Is Appreciated

    Thanks!

Also the Akasa Freedom tower and the Akasa Nero S are both capable coolers also remeber to use good thermal paste as that can help shave few degrees

Titan fenrir 100% - Make sure it's the v2 version or xmas version to have the 1156 bracket. I'm currently waiting for the Evo version to upgrade from the artic rev2 :thumb:

    A 700w PSU is ample.

A Titan Fenrir isn't very expensive, around £35 or so I think.

All around the same price of £30-35. 700w is more than enough, just make sure its good quality so you get stable power delivery and modular is better for tidyness etc

I use a Gelid Tranquillo on my i5-750 (very quiet). Idle temps 22 - 24C. That said, Titan Fenrir is also a very good cooler. You might want to look at your airflow plan? Some food for thought here.

another things to ask is that my elite 310 case only support 1 rear, front and 2 side fans
so how should i place my fans in order to get the best cooling solution of my case

Chimeradog - see the link in my previous post for some ideas/guidelines.

The general rule is: front to back - bottom to top, (i.e. intake from front at the bottom, exhaust from back at the top).

seanbean i saw the link and figure it out this way

since my case hase no top fans available
im thinking of using the front n side bottom fan to blow in air and the rear and upperside an to exhaust the heat

is the setup this way better this way?
