Hi. I godt 4x 2Gig's of the CL5 Corsair XMS2, and they overclock like a charm. But, i'm not happy with the original childish Heatsink. But the are glued on (i think?) - There's no clips anywhere, like for example Kingston uses on the HyperX series. Has anyone here tried something similar, and how? /Regards
Probably some kind of resin like the Dominator DIMMs, of which I've seen a guy rip his chips off its PCB while trying to remove the heatsinks... was in a Epic Fail thread either here or on WCUK...
I'm also concerned about ripping the chips of, and i won't try to remove the sinks, unless someone that has actually done it tells me how.. It's a nasty heatsink
