    Does anybody have a counter strike source guest pass willing to give away for free? I have a friend who lives at the other end of the country who I’m trying to convince to get the game he just wants to play it before he buys to see if he likes it.

    I think you have to add people to your buddy list, i'm not sure. Add me and send me an cs guest pass please. My name is cubetriangle. Then you open Steam, click on the Games tab at the top, then click Manage guest passes. Highlight the CSS one and click on Send.

    A little off topic, but I've just recently got back into old CS:Source and have found a server with a "Gun Game" mod. Basically everyone starts at level 1 with a basic pistol, if you kill someone that round, you get the next more expensive pistol above it the following round. You carry on like this working your way through shotty/smg/rifle/ until your at level 23(or there abouts) where finally you get just a he nade and a knife. Once you kill with the knife you win the game. If your knifed at any point you lose a level. Tis great fun and there's less hanging around for the next round like the normal game, which is great for me cos I normally like to rush at the start.:D Camping sux.

    I don't even play that crappy bombing mode, nothing but the finest of gg_ maps touches my installation. ;)
