    Hi all

As you can see, I'm on an older setup, a C2D e6600 cpu and a 4870 ATI gpu...

    Questions:
    1) Would an upgrade of my cpu, mobo and ram boost ekstra performance out of my 4870.
    2) Would my cpu act as a bottleneck if I'd decide to add an ekstra 4870.

Nice balanced system you have at the moment, I'd stick with that for now.

Otherwise the AMD 6870 is offering pretty damned good performance for the asking price here in the UK at the moment. It's around the £120 mark so if you can get an equivalent in Denmark it'd be a worthy upgrade.

Also talk about overkill on the PSU! :)

I upgraded from a core duo E5200 to a Q6600 and I have gained quite a substantial increase in game performance.
i.e BFBC3 had everything on low, now I have medium/high settings.
I do think only 2 cores was bottlenecking my gpu although I could just be talking crazy

I would upgrade the GPU first, then if you upgrade again it can be carried over to the new build.
