heres the score i have 2 laptops and acer aspire 3660 and a HP510 The Acer having an Intel Celeron M 420 1.6ghz The Hp has a 2.1ghz P4 what im after is a list of cpus that will fit the appropriate socket on the motherboard the markings on the zif sockets are as follows acer ( Socket 478 MT) HP (Socket 478 MB) now if i put either of those into Google i find not alot. i know that they have a very Slightly different pin arrangement on the cpus am i right in assuming that socket 478 MT will only fit celeron class cpus and the socket 478 MB may have the possibility for a Intel core2 ( not likely as the bios wont support it bit if i could find the appropriate bios flash from the manufacture then it may work) incase you got lost in my rambling i want a list of cpus that will fit in the above sockets. thankyou. edit:- i think i have answered my own question socket 478m T is celeron class socket 478M B is Pentium 4 M class any confirmation of this would be greatly appreciated thankyou
