Gaming Critical Hit: Why Don't We Reuse Game Worlds?

    The only issue is that over time, these "worlds" become more realistic. If you've ever been to NYC, you'd know that Rockstar has quite a ways to go to fully capture it. Particularly in terms of scale. (The GTA4 map isn't even as big as Manhattan itself). Thus, I'm not quite so sure I'd encourage such an idea. Though it is practical.

    I'd like to see them use great ideas over again. Like X-COM:UFO Defence, all they have to do is take the same exact gameplay, update the graphics and they would have a hit on their hands. Add in multiplayer co-op and achievements (which I hate because they can all be done in 10 hours) and you have a big blockbuster hit.

    Jedi Knight series is another one, who doesnt want to engage in real time lightsaber combat. License the CryEngine2 and watch the money roll in!!

    More games should have an editor like Arma.
