I've got a Crucial M4 64GB SSD drive installed on an Asus P6X58D-E motherboard using the Sata 2 port. The Intel ICH10R AHCI driver is version 10.6.0.1002. Firt off if I've been using the computer for a while and copy a file or folder on the M4 it doesn't show up until I right click and select refresh. This happens when I create a new folder as well. I'm using Windows 7, have turned off defrag & Hibinate. If any one can enlighten me on what is causing the problem or if if I need different drivers I'd be most greatful.
This is a windows bug, has nothing to do with m4. Probably same as http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...er-views/9d1ede23-2666-4951-b3b9-b6c1ce3d1ebf http://www.windows7taskforce.com/view/3103
Exactly, an annoying bug in explorer, which occurs on win7 systems regardless of disk type. There was a patch that fixed it http://support.microsoft.com/kb/980408
