Internet connected keyboards: for when you want the keylogger to be built into the device from the factory.
Looking forward to the inevitable "4Q2"
Hmm..Why unfortunate... Did I miss a reference?
New Das Kayboard project coming soon: the 4KMEE, in collaboration with Mike Myers!
Exactly. Surely someone, somewhere, during the development process actually said the name aloud? Surely?
Unless that was the entire point: I mean, to be fair, I probably wouldn't have bothered covering it if it weren't for the name...
Or it was some inside joke by trying to sound like Fork, a common term in the world of open source and an indirect mocking of other keyboard software often lacking Linux support?
Given its predecessor is the 5Q (fivekew), which isn't anything and which launched without the promised Linux support (which it has now received in buggy, beta form), I'mma say not.
Perhaps you're meant to say it in German with a Texan accent.
Probably deliberate. It's exactly the sort of thing marketing departments think is edgy and will garner coverage. Despite the name Das Keyboard are American, so it wasn't a language thing.
Separate names with a comma.
