This game looks mint, dont know why but have allways loved warhammer 40k! Collected a bit or space marine ultramarines and chaos back when i was 10-11, the games allow me to relive all that without being too geeky!

Gave the kids over the road a ride around in the mini the other day and one was clutching the 40k mag white dwarf? Almost wanted me to get back into it....will have to be really inconsiderate and give him my old DOW!

And before anyone asks, im not a pervert, the youngest kid is my brothers godson, they're friends of the family, i dont give rides to any old kid :p

    Droooooool.

Tyranids. They used to totally suck in Wh40K as they were kind of made up for a board game called Advanced Space Crusade, but damn they really sorted them out since then!

I hope they do something about the single player game. The Soulstorm game barely had one.

Of the video? Thats not a new faction, the tyranids have been in 40k since the beggining pretty much. As for the monster itself it looked like a lictor. Trailor looks awesome, though the trailers and in game vids always did for the warhammer games, really well made.

I keep trying to look away from this game, so as not to spoil it, but god.

With trailers like this, I can't help but look :(

    YAAAY! TYRANIDS!

Back in my 40k days, Tyranids were my favourite army to play - especially against certain people. There's nothing more satisfying than removing a squad of Imperial Guard, accompanied by a very patronising "Nom, nom, nom..."

Hope that this one has a better storyline to it than dark crusade and soulstorm, love the games but those really sucked for a storyline, and the stories can be some of the best parts, especially in the W40K universe.

does anyone else think that there should be a Warhammer 40k FPS game in the style of battlefield? There's a bucketload of weapons/vehicles/classes and so much quality material to work with. would be just sheer awesome

Can't wait. The intro looked great (so did the original DOW).
actually, I'd like a turnbased game (along the lines of UFO: Enemy Unknown) in the 40K setting.

I'd love an FPS with 40k, but id also like a turnbased board style game as well, that would be interesting!

One where the pieces stand still as figurines until you tell them to move to a position or attack an enemy after a dice roll, basically just animated real life, like when you were a kid and had to make up all the cool stuff in your head and move the little pieces around haha.
