DDR333 Ram Overclock Help!

    hi all,

    I have some Kingston Value Ram (DDR333) and a MSI KT333 Ultra 2 Mobo. What do i need to do to overclock it and is there much point?

    maybe I can help out a bit...

    not sure what chip you have since your cpu isn't listed in your sig but give these things a try.

    first go into the BIOS and on the main screen choose "LOAD HIGH PERFORMANCE DEFAULTS

    then go into the "ADVANCED CHIPSET FEATURES" and choose "DRAM Timing Control" and set the "Fast Command" to NORMAL (don't change anything else)

    then go onto the "Frequency/Voltage Control" section. raise your FSB Clock to 155 and set the CPU Vcore to the max as well as the DDR Voltage.

    escape, F10 and reboot. it should handle that since the 1/5 divider will be kicked in at 152fsb. If it won't boot and/or isn't stable, try setting the SDRAM CAS# Latency to 2.5 instead of 2 and see if that helps. and if that doesn't help then just keep lowering the fsb and see how high it will be stable at.
