I've got a slow burner project started involving a Lian G70 which could take a few months and i did'nt want to go ghetto with my gaming rig so i bought this TJ07 from Bry (AKA Demon) to house my nice new stuff and it arrived today so i gave it a strip down and a bit of love and here it is naked ! :D

And the side panel - looks amazing in the flesh and the logo is for Bry's shop Hangar 17

Splash anodising and powder coating was done through Tom at chilled pc and its a heck of a job ! I'm off to Cardiff for a few days tomorrow so it will probably be early next week before its fully built - i'm well looking forward to it ! :D

Sorry for the double post - server was down last night and could'nt get on !

Planning on not doing to much to it really, replacing the perspex with a red tint and have allready removed the mesh in the roof of the case and am making a red tinted window for that too !

Into the belly of the Beast.

I've got a question... only slightly off-topic... Is there a way to simulate that splash anodizing with any other method (besides actually anodizing)?

Blood. Muhha - lol. Loved the way it looked from the start so it'll be interesting what you do with it.

You could maybe get a similar effect by flicking a paint loaded brush at a case craigbru - could flick different colours too ?

A bit of Crossfire action !

My middle son did this to his Fender guitar with a tooth brush for small splatters and a 4 inch paint brush for larger areas. Base yellow and many different splashes. Strat looks cool.

Thanks guys, I was wondering about just flicking paint at a case... That almost seemed to 'easy' though... I'm not sure I'd trust myself to pull off the look I want.

i dont believe that it is a paint job. to me it looks like a splash anodisation. use to do it on montain bikes during the 1990's.

You could always use squirt guns. We did it to my room when i was about 12, and it looked awesome. Especially with the glow in the dark paint. Although, you might want to thin the pain or it will dry, and clog the guns. Although, when i do it on smaller objects (Not an 13' wall.) I use a paint brush. Some times i just drop the paint tin on the stupid thing...

I guess I'm just going to have to experiment a little, because I really love that effect. Only I'm envisioning something that looks a little more like blood. I think the trick is to have it look like a cool paint effect, rather than look like you dropped some crap on your case...
