How to Quieten Yer PC 3: And colder too!
KV my old mucker, why oh why oh why haven't you done a desk fan mod? It's perfect. PC fans are *so* inefficent. Case temps are gone with a desk fan, cos the whole case is cooled innit hence the CPU is much colder too (I've tried it by whacking one next to the CPU, and I know you have too ;) ) They spin faster, blow more air and do it more quietely than the current myriad of fans that people have ATM. I reckon the Borg would be *perfect* for such a job.

Go on, do it! Please! Before I give it a go and eletrocute meself) :D

Problem with a desk fan, it's too big to fit in the computer! I prefer my computer closed to open, that's for sure.

Butttttttttttttt, you take the fan apart, leaving just the grilled bit, ditching the stand and stuff. Then you stick that in a hole in the side, half in-half out.
