So on several "leaked" info regarding blizzcon and Blizzard it has been said that Diablo 3 IS coming, and it will be that Heaven is being overtaken by the evil of hell. The thing is, on diabloii.net they say that it is NOT coming. Does anyone know where official word on this is?
That didn't really answer my question. I just want to know if Blizzard made an official word about Diablo 3, whether it be an MMO or not.
nothing is official yet. They are assembling a team and are probably working out all the kinks as we speak. Things like: Birds eye view, PvE, PvP, Game size...... on and on. Right now it is a concept in which the designers are pushing towards turining into a game. I'd say there is about a 95% chance it'll happen. Could it fail? Possibly, if some unknown variable enters the scene. You really shouldnt worry about it at this point. A game at that scale would take, at a minimum, 1 year to complete. Realisticly it's probably about 2-3 years off. I'm keeping up with the news because i plan on being a retailer when this game comes out (eeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaasy cash) and I plan on wasteing another 3 years of my life miserably trying to control the gamestructure : )
Warcraft, Warcraft 2, Warcraft 3, World of Warcraft Diablo, Diablo 2, and if it pans out, Diablo 3 Starcraft. WOULD BLIZZARD STOP NEGLECTING THE STARCRAFT FRANCHISE!? </rant>
yea since the Warcraft and Diablo franchise have a greater turnover then starcraft does.. I think blizzy wants to go with what they think will give the greatest turnover without any risks. I hope really hard that D3 will come if not
