We've already got a thread for who you'd want to vote for, but how many people actually went out and voted?
Failed to register my new address in time One of the downsides of university living - have to keep updating one's address every year and left it a bit too late this time.
Uh....you know what? Being of the digital generation I stupidly thought I'll vote online. Silly ass me.
Nope, I'm 60 miles away from my polling station and there are no good reasons for me to spend the time or diesel travelling home to vote because I know in this country my vote won't make a damn's worth of difference.
@Unicorn, it's that attitude that leads to the situation we are in now. If more people voted then real changes could be made. If less vote, politicians will just stay in the middle of the road and play it safe. I respect your right not to vote, but I fail to understand it. If everyone thought like that, then there would be no change in our political system at all. Hope we don't hear all the non voters bleating in a years time about the state of the government and what they are doing about it I ticked yes, I haven't voted yet but definitely will be once I manage to get out of the house. Looking forward to seeing what the results bring tomorrow!
