Artanoon, all! I've recently attempted use of the Cooler Master RGB software to try and make jazzy effects on an MK750 keyboard (latest s/w version I could find for download from the archive on their website, as it's a slightly older model keyboard), but it's rather clunky, contradictory and not very user-friendly or self-explanatory. One of the chaps on here (thanks for the pointer in the right direction!) suggested looking at third-party software, so I had a look and found Jacknet and OpenRGB. Seems to me that the former is more of an ecosystem manager ie. controls lighting across your devices, rather than being a device-specific controller. OpenRGB might be better, so I was wondering: is this the right application for the purpose? can I trust it? is it easy to use? how good is the functionality? If anyone has any input, or advice on alternatives that they can share, I'd be most appreciative. Thanks as always!
Only because I'm suspicious by nature and would like to know if it's borked anyone's system/nicked their life savings/stolen their firstborn or whatever before installing. I'm on a tenuous footing with this machine at the moment and we all know what dangers introducing a new third party to a relationship can bring.
