Yep, almost always before going anywhere. Else I tend to feel faint and nauseous (which is stupid, because being nauseous does not make me want to eat :p). A few years ago didn't have anything to drink/eat when I woke up, so I walked to the shop. Thirty seconds after leaving the shop, I couldn't stand on my legs anymore. Slumped against a wall, everything went black (though I was conscious) and to top it all off, some concerned citizens called me an ambulance. By the time the ambulance arrived I was feeling fine again, though. Quite the unnecessary bill, hugely embarrassing, and a good reason to from then on at least munch down something before walking out of the door :thumb:

Yes i do, but not much. Just some cereal and a cup of tea/coffee/HC. Usually I have more when I'm home, but when you've got 9am lectures Monday to Saturday, every second saved is a second more sleep :thumb:

i might just quickly throw something in....
if you don't eat breakfast your body is basically being starved so it stays in "energy saver mode". It's sort of means you don't wake up properly, you remain in an almost drowsy state. Eat a decent breaky and your body loves the energy source, giving you a nice kick start to your day. Soon you will be fully awake, in "full power/overclocked" mode, your metabolism is much higher when in this alert/high energy state, so you burn more calories.
If you skipped breaky you will still be in this slow, low energy, low metabolim state, until you have lunch... if lunch isn't good however.... the day won't be very productive... not many calories get burnt...

    so it's our choice..

    1) be slow, not much excercise, so we aren't fit or burning energy, fat builds up and we aren't eating much..

    2) be alert, penty of excercise just from all the movement, we are fit, fat doesn't build up, and we are eating nice meals

.... this good 2nd out come is based on "good" food.... pages can be written on what is good & bad food...

...and another problem is those that eat well... but are too lazy to use the energy!!! = number 1 scenario

I need to have something for breakfast. As I don't have the time/enthusiasm its usually a bowl of cereal and a cup of tea.

I prefer a full English breakfast, but never have the time, so I'm stuck with cereal.

Cup of tea usually, with toast if I'm not in a massive rush to leave.

Bowl of cereal, usually something sugary like frosties or honey nut cheerios, glass of fruit juice and a cup of tea, every week day. Weekends i usually have nothing but once in a while i make a fry up and have a brunch.

I don't really have time for it on weekdays, and on weekends I couldn't really call it breakfast, more of a brunch.

I never used to really eat breakfast when I was younger. However, now I find it really does help get through the day with better energy levels. This morning's breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, turkey bacon, a banana date bran muffin and some coffee with vanilla creamer. Nummy
