    I would actually like more TLD's but only if there's more vetting for specific domains. Like in order to be .bank you would have to prove that you were a financial institution. or .news would have to show sometype of journalism credits.

    I think more verification would increase the legitimacy of TLD's. .info .tv etc are already really sketchy, I wouldn't trust bankofamerica.info or paypal.tv

    I don't think this is a good idea. While I support the introduction of non-latin characters for ease of use in non-latin languages, having arbitrary .whatever tlds will likely result in much confusion. While expanding the already established norms with some new ones, may not be a bad thing. As suggested above .news and .bank. While some other useful ones might be things like .blog, .wiki, .forum. Going further you could have things like .film, .music, .game etc for sites for a specific movie, artist or videogame etc. While keeping what we have like .com for actual companies, .org for real non-profits, and .edu for all schools etc.. Tlds should get more structure to make it obvious what something is for, and a better idea if it is a site that may be trustworthy to visit. In short we need to keep a logical structure for such a vast network as the internet.
