At this moment I'm sleeving the cables of my (old) Dell D750E-00 power supply. Started with unpinning all the connectors and writing down where I took the pins out, I'm now at the point of putting them back together into the connector. But I'm stuck at one pin of the 24-pins atx connector, since there is 1 pin with a double red wire instead of one wire, and I didn't write down from which pin I took this double wired, ony that I took a red one out of it. Is there a smarter person than me that can tell me to which pin the double red wired connector belongs?

    Thanks in advance,

    Chris

Providing Dell follow the ATX standard and the red wire represents 5v (not a given) it shouldn't matter which of the pin-outs you use providing it goes into one of the 5 pin-outs for 5v on the 24 pin connector. You should double check it with a multi-meter or PSU Tester before connecting to your PC.
