To make it easier, you could outline the scales, hit them hard in one direction w/ high grit sand paper, then add a few deeper grooves with the dremel. this way there is already texture to them and you just hve to enhance it. btw, looking awesome, though i think he needs more knight munching teeth!

    This looks awsome.
The teeth are great, but should not just be used, but stained, with a little blood mayby.
Great work keep it up :thumb:

ok small update .. i put some more teeths in to the lowerpart of the jaw to get the whole concept of the teeths and i think it looks good ..

some diffrent sizes and forms on them and i think its enough of them ..

put on some more putty to be able to do scales on bigger parts , this will take a hell of a time tho, hve marked out some parts of the head that the scales will continue on to..

after a while of work and twice the time of cursing ..

and after some more , and i think i will be damn pleased with the result ..

cant really get the same feeling of the "dragon" by looking at a pic but its damn nice.

    more to come ..

What inspiration a little brandy will give you! :D

The horror case have always been my favourite amongst your mods, but this time it looks like it may have to settle for the back seat.

You're prolly not even nearly done with the head yet, but have you thought of givining this beasty some horns? Perhaps something like this?
As for colors, a reddish dragon always looks majestic!

a dark red, dark green or dark blue color on it got to be the best way to go. But perhaps black could do it..?

i kind of like the idea of a black dragon, you could paint it black and high light it with gold on the tips. that just one idea.
