Windows Duplicate File finder

Hi,

Can anybody recommend a free program to identify duplicate files? I have done a quick search across the forum but nothing of use came up.

Depends on what duplicate files, some things like images or audio are much trickier to identify duplicates and require some more specialized approach. For general files, I like clonespy. Seems a lot more effective than many since it actually does data comparision not just oh, hey both the same name detection.

You can search it through search engines where you can get a list of duplicate finder for your problem.

 

You can also try using Duplicate files deleter, its the best software for me to remove duplicated files.
